Colorado City – Mrs. Narzee Browne, age 91, of Colorado City, died Monday morning in a local hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 PM Friday in the Colorado City Cemetery with Truman Stinson officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Browne was born March 29, 1921 in Elmdale, Texas to Hollie and Jewel Bryan Rowland and had been a resident of Mitchell County since 1937.
She married Ellis Browne on August 6, 1938 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1999. She was a homemaker and attended the Westbrook Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy and wife, Leona Browne of Colorado City; a daughter-in-law, Nelda Browne Linscomb of Junction; a brother, Bryan Rowland of Colorado City; a sister, Jo Beth Baumann of Loraine; 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Don Browne and a granddaughter, Joy Ann Browne.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
