From The Reading Eagle, Nov. 17, 1976:
Earl A. Angstadt, 69, formerly of Bowers, died Tuesday night in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Lebanon, where he was a patient 4 1/2 years. He was a son of the late Franklin and Lillie (Wolfe) Angstadt, and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are two brothers, Hunter, of Boyertown R.D., and Howard, Temple, and three sisters: Mabel, wife of Edison Fegely, Fleetwood R.D. 1; Edna, wife of Lester Schaeffer, Oley, and Katie, wife of Lloyd Dreisbelbis, Virginville.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Schofer Funeral Home, Topton, with the Rev. Henry G. Fromhartz officiating. Burial will be made in New Jerusalem Cemetery.
