Edward M. Andrews, of 625 Summit Street Eau Claire died at the Columbia Hospital at 6 o'clock this morning after an extended illness.

The son of the late John L. Andrews and Lavinia Beard Andrews, he was a lifelong resident of Richland County. For the past seven years he operated a farm on the Monticello Road near Columbia, prior to that time he was connected with Palmetto Guano Corporation.

Surviving is two sisters, Miss Julia R. Andrews and Miss Annie M. Andrews; and a brother, E. B. Andrews, all of Columbia.

Funeral services will be conducted from McCormick's Mortuary at 11 o'clock Saturday morning by the Rev. E. R. Mason, pastor of Main Street Methodist Church, the Rev. L. g. Payne, pastor of Eau Claire Baptist Church; and the Rev. Marian Mason, pastor of the Leesville Methodist Church. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
