She lived her adult life in Macon, Georgia, before moving to Charleston, South Carolina to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
In Macon, she made an impact on the fashion scene as sales manager, hat model and a New York buyer for Goldman's.
Daisy was an avid golfer in Middle Georgia and at Riverside Golf Club, where she was a member of the illustrious Hole in One Club.
She was a Christian and a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Bass Road in Macon. She lived her life well and to the fullest.
Daisy is survived by her brother Hollis (Dolly) Johnson of Blue Ridge, GA; her daughter, Harriet (Henry) Futch of Wando, SC; grandsons Hank (Nolie) Futch & George (Lynda) Futch of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Hal (Tyler) Futch of Charlotte, NC, as well as several nieces & nephews, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Family graveside interment will be December 18, 2012, at 1 pm at Riverside Cemetery in Macon, Georgia.
