William Jewell died at the family home on Oct 26, 1928, at the age of 73 years. Mr. Jewell's death, follows an illness of several months.
Survived by his widow, Mrs Sarah Jewell; daughters, Mis. Viola Shannon, Fulton, and Mrs. Rose Hall of Hannibal, three sons, Floyd, Raymond and Howard, all of Syracuse, and one brother Albert Jewell of Cato.
Funeral services, were held Sunday from the home of his grandson; interment in Jacksonville Rural Cemetery.
