Harold E. Denney, 78, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born January 20, 1934 in Harrisburg, Ohio, son of the late Paul Denney and Mary Moore Denney Flowers.

He was retired from Commercial Lovelace Motor Freight and was a veteran of the United States Army. Harold was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved the outdoors. He was a member of the Ohio Husky Musky Club and the Ohio Buckeye Big Buck Club.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Denney;
daughter, Jeri Reffitt, Columbus, Ohio;
sons, Thomas (Barbara) Denney, Logan, Ohio and Craig (Sandra) Denney, Delaware, Ohio;
step-daughters, Dianna Gill, Canal Winchester, Ohio and Jackie Erwin, Marysville, Ohio;
brother, Donald Denney;
sisters, Ruth Ann (Donald) Shupe, Bidwell, Ohio and Mildred (Bill) George, Bidwell, Ohio;
half-sister, Pauline(Lauchey) McCoy;
half-brothers, John Robert, Vinton, Ohio and James (Charlotte) Letart, West Virginia;
four grandsons, two granddaughters;
many surviving family and friends.

In addition to his parents Harold is preceded in death by three brothers and a sister, Wyman, Paul Jr., Richard and Virginia.

Funeral service at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio with Rev. Herman George officiating. Burial in the Denney Cemetery, Bidwell, Ohio.
