Funeral services for James R. Malicoat, 27 years old, Spencer, were Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the West and Parrish Funeral Home in Spencer. The Rev. Ray Unger was the officiating minister.
Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
Born in Spencer, September 27, 1951, he was the son of Donald and Doris Neal Malicoat.
He died at his home Wednesday night, December 13, of a self inflicted injury.
Survivors are his widow, Kathy Chandler Malicoat; son, James Malicoat at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Malicoat, Spencer, sisters; Janet Malicoat and Glenda Malicoat, both of Spencer; brothers, Fred Malicoat, Bloomington and Roger Malicoat of Robinson, Illinois; and his grandfathers, Rassie Malicoat of Freedom and Thomas Neal of Spencer.
