Jo Ann Rollins Allison, 76, resident of Hewitt for 19 years, passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2012. The family will receive visitors from 12 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. A brief memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. with a private graveside service to be held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in West.

Jo Ann was born in Shirley, Arkansas, to the late Earl and Martha Rollins. She married Homer Milton Allison Jr. on Dec. 20, 1957.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Milton Allison Jr.; sons, Kenneth Allison, Kerry Allison, and Scott Milton Allison; brother, Glen Rollins; and daughter-in-law, Janice Allison

She is survived by her daughter, La Donna Stough and husband, Don, of Austin; son, Homer Milton "Al" Allison III and wife, Heather, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandchildren, Shannon Shroyer and husband, Matt, of China Spring, Tonja Bailey and husband, Brian, of Southlake, Crystal Veselka and husband, Steven, of China Spring, Natalie Melnar and husband, Brad, of Hutto, Kevin Allison and wife, Monica, of Kauai, Hawaii, Scott Stough and wife, Stacy, of Cedar Park, Katie Allison of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Caleb Allison, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Tylor Hammermeister, Allyson Parsons, Taryn Hammermeister, Madyson Shroyer, Greyson Bailey, Audrey Melnar, and Owen Melnar; many nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws whom Jo Ann adored; friends from the community of Hewitt, and the employees of Royal Manor and members of Brazos Meadows Baptist Church, Hewitt.
