Richard S. Almgren born to Joseph and Evelyn Lucille Almgren in Mena Arkansas. Richard Graduated Enterprise High School in 1959; receiving an achievement award in Trades and Industrial Arts, not to mention being one of the Hornets Hurdling Trio for the track team.
Richard went on to working for the U.S. Forest Service Department of Agriculture for 50 years, retiring from his position as a Sign Shop Supervisor in July of 2002. Richard was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend. Most of all, he was smart and hardworking. He was a kind and helpful man and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Richard leaves behind two brothers, a son, a daughter and four grandchildren.
No memorial services are going to be held.
