CPO ROBERT ALLISON U.S. Navy, Retired Robert "Wayne" Allison, 67, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Dec. 10, 2012. He was born Nov. 29, 1945 in New Brighton, Pa., and was a 26-year resident of Las Vegas. Wayne served his country for over 20 years in the U.S. Navy as Chief Petty Officer, and also retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He fought a very brave battle with cancer. Steelers. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert W. Allison; and his mother, June Allison. He is survived by his wife, Sherry; daughters, Stephanie and son-in-law Bryan, Cory and son-in-law, Pat, and Kristin. He is also survived by brother, Jim and sister-in-law, Hazel; sister, Janice and brother-in-law, Dave; four beautiful granddaughters; in-laws; nieces; nephews; and friends. A celebration of life service will be at 11:20 a.m., Friday, Jan. 18, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
