Russell was the loving husband of over 60s years of Carolyn Rives (Stine) Gotshall, father of five (5)children, Lamont Russell, Beverly Ann, Cornell Sherman, Sherri Rives and Russell Edward Gotshall. He was the only child of Russell B. and Elizabeth (LaBille) Gotshall. He also had many grandchildren he enjoyed. He was a master plumber by trade until retiring in Florida and was known for his friendly personality. He was a member of the Methodist church in St. Petersburg, FL.
