Laurella was married 1st ca 1843 to Joshua E. Alden, the son of Enoch Alden and Mary "Polly" Webb. They had 2 children, Enoch J. and Richard H.

Joshua died in a steamboat explosion ca 1848, probably on Lake Bistineau. He was sold land by his uncle Isaac that is located where Highway 371 crosses Brushy Creek between Lake Road and Yellowpine Road is today. Joshua was raised by his uncle Isaac after Joshua's parents died when he was a child.

Laurella married 2nd 3/22/1849 in Bienville Parish to William P. (or F.) Fuller, a blacksmith from New York (or Kentucky). They had 2(or possibly 3) children, John W., William T. (and possibly Andrew). It is assumed William died sometime between 1853 and her third marriage on 10/15/1861 to Jeremiah M. Culverhouse. She and Jeremiah had 2 children.

Laurella died sometime between the 1870 census enumerated 7/11/1870 and Jeremiah's marriage to his 3rd wife Arminta Brackin on 2/10/1871.

Family lore says she was buried "in the Old Bain Cemetery", but such a cemetery no longer exists. It is possible she is buried in Andrews Chapel, as her 3rd husband, her Fuller sons, and her Culverhouse sons are all buried there. There is a place beside her third husband marked with square concrete blocks, a headstone and footstone. He, too, has the same square concrete footstone. It makes sense that this would be her as her and her third husband would be buried between their children. As of today it is unknown whether this is her or his 3rd wife. Another possibility is that there is other family lore of an old cemetery that was located just off of Lake Road near US 371 on or near the above mentioned land that Joshua Alden owned. Still researching.

As of today, 11/26/2013, I have changed her burial site to Andrews Chapel Cemetery, as I now strongly believe that is where she is buried, beside her husband and children. (SBH)
