Sara Netta Walters, 80, of Nederland, Texas, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012.

She was born on March 23, 1932, to Jewel and Paul Willis.

Sara was the owner of Miss Ginger's Seafood, where she worked for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crochet, knitting, playing games and cards on the computer, and spending time with family. Sara will be remembered as someone who was thoughtful, sweet, caring, and family oriented.

Survivors include her sons, David Bosarge and his wife, Pat, of Elberta, Alabama; Michael Bosarge and his wife, Charlene, of Pascagoula, Mississippi; Jim Walters and his wife, Rhonda, of Port Neches; John Walters and his wife, Cindy, of Owasso, Oklahoma; and Ron Walters of New Iberia, Louisiana; daughters, Maxette Barrow and her husband, Frank, of Austin and Sandy Miller and her husband, Mike, of Nederland; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brothers, Borden Willis of Moss Point, Mississippi and Joe Willis of Crystal Beach.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmore Cecil Walters; and brother, David Willis.

Interment: Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
