Honey spent the first years of her life in a big house on a corner. She was adopted by Bob and Marilyn Klein in Toledo Ohio and had two other dogs to play with, Sandy and Sophie. They had a big yard to play in and to watch people go by. It was a big, happy family.

The family moved in 2000 to another house with a more private back yard. Honey loved chasing squirrels and hanging with her big family. Many other people visited, and she always enjoyed their company and their petting.

Then, one by one the family members "left". First Sandy, then Bob, then Sophie, and finally Marilyn. In 2009, Honey moved to Columbus Ohio with distant members of the family, the daughter and son-in-law of Marilyn. She knew these people from the many visits they made to her home, but she felt out of place and unsure of herself in this new place. This home was quite different than everything that she had known. It was a small Condo with no yard to run around in. Instead, the new owners always went out with her on walks around the neighborhood. She never went outside by herself.

Once she got used to the routine, she looked forward to those walks with the "pack". There was a cat that befriended her when they were out walking together. They would say hello whenever they were out at the same time. There were also many other people who she enjoyed stopping to say hello to on her walks. And some dogs that she would occasionally greet on her walks.

She also went on many car trips. Sometimes they went to the park and spent time in the big grassy areas. Sometimes they went to far away places like Kansas. Lots of new sights, sounds, and smells. Always with her new Pack, adventures and fun times.

She had a full, fun life with lots of people and animal friends along the way. Her family will miss her!
