Gwendolyn Bryant Watson, 72, a loving mother and adoring grandmother, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Interment: Venus Cemetery in Venus. Visitation: 1 p.m. Wednesday. Gwen was a retired teacher who loved life and Elvis Presley. Survivors: Son, Michael Monroe Jackson and wife, Christine; daughter, Melinda "Mindy" Jackson; sister, JoAnn Love; grandchildren, Joshua Taylor and Blake Bryant Jackson; nieces, Laurie Love Harris and Lynda Donnelly; great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and her cat companions, Puff and Louie.
