Mrs. Barnhart had been a Wilton resident for one year, and formerly lived in Davenport. She was born Sept. 17, 1909, at Washington, Ia., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Whitey Boyd.
She was married in 1931 to Herschel Barnhart.
Surviving are three son, Herbert and Charles of Dayton, Ohio and Richard of Davenport; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Dorine) Crable of Davenport, Mrs. Lester (Barbara) Fulton of Wilton, and Jean Barnhart of Davenport; two brothers, Charles and John Boyd, both of Ohio, and one sister, Mrs. Ethel Stage of Ohio. There are 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters and one son.
The body is at the Gill Memorial home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Brother Verlin Chipp of the Church of the Nazarene, Bettendorf, will officiate. Burial will be at Oakdale cemetery, Wilton.
