Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer (Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois), Saturday, October 21, 1961:
   Mrs. Leone Weir Armstrong, 715 North Main St., Edwardsville, died Friday in St. Louis County, Mo., where she had been recently residing.
   Graveside services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Woodlawn cemetery with the Lesley Marks funeral home in charge. The Rev. James L. Nettleton, pastor of St. John's Methodist church, will officiate.
   Born in Edwardsville, Mrs. Armstrong was the daughter of Dr. Edward H. and Frances Terry Weir. Her husband, Henry C. Armstrong, died June 20, 1945.
   Surviving are two sons, Harris and Henry C. Armstrong of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Edmond (Suzanne) Gaiennie, Norwalk, Conn.; and three sisters, Miss Edna Weir of Edwardsville, Mrs. Josephine Hadley, Rockford, and Marjorie Hughes, Detroit, Mich.
   A sister, Mrs. Marie Von Weise, preceded her in death.
