Albany, GA- James Alton Daniels, 91, of Albany, Georgia passed away on December 2, 2012.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus.
Visitation for Mr. Daniels will be from 6-8 pm, on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the funeral home.
James Alton Daniels was born October 30, 1921 to the late James Alexander Daniel and Mary Lizzie Daniel. Mr. Daniels served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years Dorothy Daniels, one son, George Daniels, a daughter, Judy Daniels, a sister, Ruby Thompson, two grandchildren, Paul and Tina, three great-grandchildren, Amber, Tucker, and Britney, and several nieces and nephews.
