Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Lanier of Pienville; a son, Larry Lanier of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Stevens of Linden, Tex.; a brother, W.L. Lanier of Lancaster, Tex.; a half brother, John Kennard of Pineville; a half sister, Mrs. Bernice Sibley of Walker; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Rush with Revs. Thurston Brice and Robert Galloway officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
