Taffy Michelle Yvette Cook passed away in her sleep November 30, 2012. Born September 6, 1952 in Jacksonville, she was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville Beach.
Taffy's passions were expertly decorating her home and helping her family. She continued her family's legacy as a partner of Ginger's Place in Jacksonville Beach.
Preceded in death by her parents, Darlene & Ziggy Payson, she is survived by her husband, John B. Cook; son, Cameron Gaskill; granddaughter, Ava Christine Gaskill; sister, Candyce Payson; nieces, Samantha Robenolt & Amanda Sams; grandniece, Lani Darlene Robenolt; and grand nephews, Daniel Favichia, Austin Favichia, & Gabe Moore.
A celebration of Taffy's life was held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, following a visitation time 1 hour prior, in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL.
