Thomas Clark
CLAYTON, Ga. - Thomas Lester Clark, 70, of Clayton, died early Wednesday in a Cleveland nursing home after a long illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Rabun County and was a son of the late Oscar and Algea Chastain Clark. His wife, Norma Nichols Clark, died in 1968.
He was a retired farmer and caretaker of camp property. He was a member of the Persimmon Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, LIVING; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Clark Palmer of Nicholson, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Virgil Nichols of Clayton; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Persimmon Baptist Church by the Rev. Bill Clark and Baptist Layman Lloyd Hunter.
Burial will be in the Persimmon Cemetery.
