Upon graduation from high school Michael attended Diablo Valley College before proudly serving in the US Army Airborne Division, during the Vietnam era, as a Helicopter Crew Chief. Loving brother of Karan Rudie, beloved son of the late Norman and Mary Alice Rudie. Michael was an avid collector of rock memorabilia and a great fan of music. His enthusiasm for and knowlege of old movies, music and history was incredible.
