Eldo C. Rogers, 75
Eldo C. Rogers, 75, 923 N. Harrison St., Hartford City, died at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 1986 in Blackford County Hospital after an extended illness.
The youngest of 17 children, Mr. Rogers was born in Blackford County Feb. 24, 1911, the son of Isaac and Frances (Williams) Rogers. He married Helen W. Townsend in Hartford City, Feb. 15, 1941. She survives.
A retired employee of Overhead Door Corporation, he was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Local 2047, Carpenter's and Joiner's Union.
Surviving is his wife, Helen; one brother, Paul Rogers, Hartford City; one sister, Lucille (Mrs. William) Reefe, Ft. Wayne; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services
Rogers -- The mass of Christian Burial for Eldo C. Rogers will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and 8-9:45 a.m. Tuesday in Waters Funeral Home where a Rosary service will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday.
