James (Jayme)(Santiago) Innerarity
Aberdeen, Scotland native of Scotland came to U. S. in 1796 and was leading clerk of Panton, Leslie and Co. In 1803 he bacame a partner and lived in Mobile in 1817 was president of the Commissioners of Mobile. head of Forbes Co. of Pensacola. Married Spanish Countess Louise Trouilett, who owned a plantation in Cuba.

James Innerarity came to the US in 1796 to work for his Uncle William Panton's Trading Company, Panton, Leslie & Company of which he later became a partner. He was elected the First President of Commissions (Mayor) of Mobile in 1814-1815 and again in 1816-1817. He married Isabelle Heloise Trouillet, a Spanish Countess. His Brother, John, ran the company in Pensacola. They held close ties to various Governors and General Andrew Jackson. Panton, Leslie & Co and the Innerarity Brothers History can be found in the University of West Florida Library, Mobile Library, New Orleans Library and Court House, LSU University Library in Baton Rouge and the Library of Congress.
