Gordon Mitchell Adams, passed away Nov. 15, 2004, at his home in Las Vegas. Gordon enjoyed a wide variety of occupations in his lifetime. He was a patrolman and detective with both Clark County and Iron County Sheriff's Departments for a total of twelve years. He then became a surveillance investigator, director and supervisor for several major Las Vegas hotels, and has been employed with Griffin Investigations since 1985, and held the position of manager at the time of his death. Gordon was precise, decisive and intelligent. He said what he meant and did what he said. He is survived by his children, Jared Adams, Scott (Sandra) Adams and Brigette Adams; two grandsons, Miguel and William Daniel; brother, Rodney (Colleen) Adams; and sister, Sonya (Duane) Lamoreaux. Memorial services will be held in Gordon's hometown of Parowan, Utah. Arrangements are made under the direction of W. Russell Atkin, Spilsbury Mortuary. 435-673-2454.
