Helen Martha Brown Syndergaard Bodily, 81 died peacefully on May 21, 2002 at Parklane Manor in Salt Lake City.

She was born February 7,1921 in Salt Lake City to Fredrick Leon and Martha Gretchen Deckart Brown.

She married Allen Napier Syndergaard in Salt Lake City on June 30, 1950 their marraige was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Allen preceded her in death on June 22, 1982.

Helen later married Morton K. Bodily, November 15,1984 in Salt Lake City. He preceded her in death on April 16,1998. Helen was an active member of the LDS Church.

She loved to cook and enjoyed having her family around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula S. (Robert) Rohr, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a grandson on October 17, 1981. Also survived by her sisters; Lyle (Don) Beckstrand and June B. Ward and brothers; Paul E. Brown and Leon M. "Bud" (Sandy) Brown. Numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by a sister Jean Elaine Barsi and brother Fred "Buster" Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 28,2002 at 11:00 am. at Russon Brothers Salt Lake Mortuary, 255 South 200 East. Friends may call on Monday May 27,2002 from 6-8 p.m. or prior to the services on Tuesday from 9:45 -10:45 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Park, 10055 So State Street, Sandy.

I met Helen while living on Harmony Court in Salt Lake City. We became good friends immediatly . She became my babysitter for my kids. Her and her daughter Paula. Thank you both for that. Helen was a very kind hearted sweet lady and loved by all who knew her. Rest in Peace dear friend. REST IN SWEET ETERNAL PEACE HELEN
