Lindy Lee Brewer, 57 years, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Saturday morning (December 1, 2012) at her home with family and friends by her side.
She was born February 3, 1955 in Boston, MA the daughter of Robert and Irene (Reed) Thorson. After graduating from Southern Door High School in 1973 she received her RN from Highland College Nursing School. Lindy worked in Rockford, Illinois at a special needs clinic before moving back to Sturgeon Bay in 1998. She worked at Aurora and later for Ministry Home Health. On November 14, 1981 she married Ronald E. Brewer in Sturgeon Bay.
Lindy was a member of Hainesville Lutheran Church. She enjoyed scrapbooking, book club, and traveling with Ron. She treasured her many dear friends. Remember her walking on a beach in the sun, wind in her hair, sand between her toes, and smile on her face, one of her favorite places to be.
Survivors include her husband, Ron; mother, Irene Thorson; sister, Carrie; brother, Eric; grandmother, Marie Thorson; aunt, Jean Viste; and her beloved nephew, Brandon Biles.
Preceding her in death was her father, Robert Thorson; grandparents, Carrie and Harold Reed, Tennis Thorson Sr; aunts, Carol and Shirley Reed, Judy Thorson; uncles, Mickey Viste and Tennis Thorson Jr.
Burial will be at Hainesville Cemetery.
