Victor H. Smith, 53, of Port Orange died Thursday, November 29, 2012. He was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and has been a resident of Florida since 1977. Victor was a Quality Control Manager, E.I., at Titan America, L.L.C. and a Professor at Everglades University. He earned his Master's of Arts in Business Administration from Liberty University. He was also the Director of the American Concrete Institute and member of American Institute of Architects, as well as many other organizations where he earned numerous awards. Victor loved spending time with his loving wife, his grandchildren held a special place in his heart, he enjoyed his time with his children, spent his weekends on the beach, and was a strong Christian who loved the Lord. He was a member of Grace Bible Church in Fort Myers. He attended Calvary Christian Center in Ormond Beach since moving to Port Orange in 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents Shirley and Babe Smith, step-mother Beulah Smith, half-sister Charlotte and half-brother Phillip.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place Saturday, December 8th at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are under the care and trust of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, FL.
