Private services for Nina L Hummer, 90, 134 E Arch St, Portland, will be held at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland. Burial will be at Salamonia Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Mrs. Hummer died Monday evening at Portland Care Center West following an extended illness. Born July 2, 1902 in Jay County, she was the daughter of Lon and Bertha (Lyons) Wehrly. She was a member of South Side Church of Christ. she was married to R Glen Hummer who died Nov 11, 1974. Surviving are 3 sons, Dick Hummer, Fairmount, Dale Hummer, Portland, and Jerry Hummer, Ft Wayne; one daughter Mrs. Donn(Kay) Younce, Oxnard, California. Three sisters, Mrs Lawerence (Mary) Harmon, Mrs Pete (June) Wetzler and Mrs. Bill (Kathryn) Dawson, all of Portland; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Southside Church of Christ.
