Hannah died of old age in 1865. She was 84. Her husband Josiah had predeceased her between 1850 and 1860 and was probably buried in Paris ME. They are found farming there in the 1850 census; in their household with them was Louisa Cole, likely one of their daughters. But by 1860 Hannah was living in Portland as a widow, with her daughter Jane. No gravestone is found for her at Eastern Cemetery.
