Marie E. Brown passed away on Monday, December 20, 2004 at the age of 87. She was born on March 2, 1917 in San Antonio, TX to Henry and Evelyn Seale. Marie was a Cafeteria Manager for the San Antonio I.S.D. and retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of Western Hills Christian Church. Marie loved spending time gardening, cooking, knitting and sewing. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog, Blackie, and a variety of animals that would stop and visit her. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63-1/2 years, True S. Brown and two sons, Art K. Brown, Terry L. Brown. Marie is survived by four children, George W. Brown (Joyce), Clinton E. Brown (Diana), Sandra S. Jandt (Edwin), Linda L. Staube; daughters-in-law, Georgie C. Brown, Sandra Brown. She is survived by 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Strowd, Bernice Moore (Tom); sister-in-law, Bernice Livesay; brother-in-law, Paul Brown and numerous nieces and nephews.
