We wrote columns for the Village Voice from 1964 to 1988, the New York Daily News from 1988 to 1990, the New York Post from 1990 to 2001 and the New York Sun from 2001 to 2004. he was the author of several books including, "A Prophetic Minority," "Robert Kennedy: A Memoir," "Only in America: The Life and Crimes of Don King," "Somebody's Gotta Tell It: The Upbeat Memoir of a Working Class Journalist" and "The Full Rudy: The Man, the Myth and the Mania," about former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.
