Nola B. BEARD - Of Burton, age 71, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service to be held 11 AM Saturday, April 20, 2002 at Groves Chapel Hansen Funeral Home, 421 N. Main St., Davison. Rev. Bob Winford officiating. A memorial service will be conducted under the Auspices of the Davison O.E.S. #299 7 PM Friday evening. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Beard was born in Parma, Missouri, February 17, 1931, the daughter of Olcy and Vera (Hicks) Allen. She resided in the Burton area the last 49 years She was a member of the Davison O.E.S. #299, Ladies Oriental Shrine of North American #28, an active member and supporter of the Old Newsboys. Her life revolved around her family. They were her first love. She was employed by GM Metal Fab as a General Supervisor with 29 years of service retiring in 1982. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson John Wilt in 1994; sister Mildren Evans in 1993; brothers James R. Wilson in 1980, Nelvin Wilson in 1987 and Gerald Allen in 1969.
