Conley V. Arwood
Gate City, Va.— Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Today for Conley V. Arwood. 53, who was found dead friday morning by members of the family in his home in the Fairview section. A World War I veteran, he had been in declining health for some time.
The Rev. R. H. Mendenhall, will officiate at the services, to be held at Zion Church, Fairview, with burial following in the Sailing Cemetery.
Mr. Arwood was a member of the Methodist Church, and was affiliated with the Masonic organization.
Survivors include the widow Mrs. Laura Tyler Arwood: two brothers; W. M. Arwood of Kingston. Tenn.. and G. W. Arwood of Kinsport: three sisters. Mrs. Lloyd Pendleton and Mrs. Jessie Bloomer of Fairview, and Miss Mary Arwood of Clinchrort. Va.
