Trinidad D. "Marty" Martinez

1926-2012

Marty Martinez born Dec. 29, 1926, passed away on Tue. Nov 27, 2012. He was born in Los Angles, California and resided in Pensacola, FL. He was a veteran serving our country for 21 years in the U.S. Navy and retired from the Escambia County Road Department. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and coaching softball, he was a member of Klondike Baptist Church. A loving father and grandfather.

Preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Rita Martinez, and grandson Zachary Martinez, survivors include daughter Susan Martinez, son David Martinez (Pattie), two granddaughters Anamarie Mixson (Lincoln), Britni Baber (Jason) and three great grandchildren, Evie Mixson, Maria Martinez and Jaxson Baber, many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers Tim Parker, Kevin Cole, Jerry Olsen, Tim Holland, Ricky Ward and Richard Troyer, Honorary pallbearers John Tisdale, Richard Searles, Clarence West and John Cobb.

Visitation will be at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and services will be at Klondike Baptist Church, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 11:00 am with Pastor Josh Wallnofer officiating.
