Mrs. Ann V. Betzold, 45, of 613 N. Main street died this morning at 6:30 at St. Francis hospital in Litchfield.
She was born in Libusin, Czechoslovakia, on August 22, 1900, to the late William and Rosalie Vavra and came to the United States with her parents at the age of six. She was married to George Klingel to which a son, Cpl. Gerald Klingel of Fort Bragg, N.C., was born. She later married George Betzold, who survives, along with her son.
The deceased was a member of the J.C.D. lodge, of which she was secretary-treasurer. She was also a trustee of the lodge.
Friends may call at the Straube funeral home from Sunday noon until the time of the services Tuesday.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the funeral home. The Rev. H.J. Bredehoeft and the J.C.D. lodge will have charge of the service. Burial will be in Buck Road cemetery.
