Kimberly Agostinoni Byrum, 45, went to be with the Lord May 21, 2008. She was in her home, surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Newport, R.I., she was the daughter of the late Armando and Hanna Lore S. Agostinoni. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She loved God, her family, her home and having a lot of friends around her. She loved her church and she never knew a stranger because she talked to everyone everywhere she went. Survivors include her husband, Alvah Haff Byrum; daughters, Hannah Byrum Jones and her husband Ryan of Virginia Beach, Kaity Byrum and Kelly Byrum of the home; stepson and wife, Brian and Mayra Olszak of Norfolk; sisters, Dolores Agostinoni of Suffolk, Patty Smith and husband Mike of Melbourne, Fla.; brother, Mike Agostinoni of Norfolk; mother-in-law, Lelia Byrum of Suffolk; brothers-in- law, Richard Byrum and wife Iris of Suffolk and Ben Byrum of Miami, Fla.; sisters-in-law and husbands, Mary and Homer Styron of Hatteras, N.C., Vicky and Bob Fleming of Suffolk, Terrie and Philip Butler of Suffolk; numerous nieces and nephews, Anthony, Helena, Angie and Josh, Mindy and Lee, Leanne, Matthew, John Michael, Acra, Sarah and Little Ricky. A special thank you to two true friends, Phyllis Lilly and Tammy Wiand and hospice nurse, Lisa McMann A celebration of Kim's life will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Southside Baptist Church by the Rev. Stewart McCarter and the Rev. Jon Rissmiller. The family will receive friends at her home following the service.
