Heart attack claims M.M. Coley, 52 of Rt.6 Sanford was dead on arrival this morning at Lee County Hospital, death resulting from an apparent heart attack.

Born in Lee County, he was the son of the late Wade and Minnie Kiser Coley. He was an employee of the State Highway Department.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m at Jonesboro Presbyterian church by the Rev. W.T.Perkins pastor. Burial will follow in Lee Memory Gardens. The body will remain at Rogers Funeral Home until carried to the church and hour before the service.

Surviving are his wife, the former Eizabeth Dalrymple. one son Michael Coley of Southern Pines; one daughter, Miss Diane Coley of the home. Two brothers Reece Coley of Sanford and Ray Coley of Utah and four sisters, Mrs Margaret Jones, Mrs Maude Stone and Mrs Leoma Smith all of Sanford and Mrs Belle Cameron of Carthage.

Mack was my brother-in-law. He was very special to our family. He is the first one I met when my husband took us to North Carolina and he welcomed me into the family with Love. He and his wife Elizabeth and both of their children were so sweet and kind. We spent a lot of time with their family while living in North Carolina and when we moved back to Utah I felt really sad leaving my new family that I loved. Mack was a very special kind and loving man and he loved his family so much. I know that he served in WORLD WAR II. REST IN PEACE DEAR BROTHER.
