Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Meister, 87, a resident of the Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, were held at 9:30 a.m. today at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chilton. The Rev. Henry Schmitt officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Meister died late Saturday morning at the Homestead where she had resided the past six years. She was born in Hungary Feb. 14, 1876, and was married to John Meister Nov. 18, 1895, in Hungary. He preceded her in death April 3, 1939. She had resided in the Town of Charlestown from 1929 until 1952, then lived at Chilton from 1952 until 1957 when she moved to the Calumet Homestead.
There are no survivors.
