Christopher Lee Archer, 27, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 24, 2012, in Cadillac. Christopher was the son of Ernest and Gerry (Archer) and Kay (Welch) Felde.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of six years, Mary Vineyard-Archer, and his special friend Stacy Youngs.

Christopher is survived by his four children, Isabella Grace Francis, Joshua James Earnest, Abilgail Kailyn, and Payton Alyzabeth-Irene.

Christopher is survived by seven siblings; Carolyn (Daniel) Boes, Traci Archer, Pamela Archer, Andrew (Erica) Archer, Sarah (David) Chapman, Kayla (Jimmy) Miller, and Glen Wood, as well as 18 nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews.

Chistopher was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors immensely, taking road trips to anywhere and nowhere in particular. He loved the beauty and peacefulness of the Upper Peninsula and went there several times with his family. He also enjoyed spending time with each of this children. Christopher was a recent student at Baker College of Cadillac, studying diesel mechanics, in which he excelled.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Burial will follow in the North Ensley Cemetery in Newaygo County.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 26, and prior to services on Tuesday.
