Erwin Brown was a loving husband and father. He was often called "Erge" [UR-gee]. His wife was Ruth M. Brown. They had a lovely daughter they named Judy, and they lived on a farm in Penn Yan--in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of western New York State. They planted, tied, grew, nurtured and harvested millions of Concord grapes over the decades, which gave great joy to them and countless others. Erwin and Ruth had a long and very loving marriage, and when they retired they moved from their farm down closer to the lakefront, where they had a custom log home built. Erwin was a thoughtful, honest, upright and generous man, much loved by his family and highly regarded by the others of his community.
