Janet Lee Blosser, 82, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 22, 2012. She was the wife of Clarence F. Blosser, who passed away October 11, 2007.

Janet was born May 3, 1930, in Harrisonburg, Va., the daughter of the late Othor D. and Ollie (Lawson) Boyers.

Mrs. Blosser is survived by five children, Judith K. Godrey of Felton, Jerry W. Blosser of Red Lion, Patricia A. Laird of Felton, Cindy S. Hawkes of Red Lion, and Trudy J. Gauthier of Lancaster; two sisters, Maxine Thomas and Agnes Smith, both of Harrisonburg, Va.; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Blosser had been employed by AMP Plastics for many years prior to her retirement. She was a former member of 7 Valley Baptist Church. She was an excellent baker.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Blosser will be held 12 noon on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at the Yorkanna Church of the Brethren, 88 Main St., Yorkanna 17406 with Richard Godfrey officiating. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown 17313 and from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery in Brogue.
