Pearl Troutman Alexander
MOORESVILLE -- Mrs. Alexander, 89, died Friday, March 16, 2007 at Churchill Assisted Living.
Born March 2, 1918 in Mooresville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Murdock Troutman. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Alexander.

She is survived by her children, Susan Starnes of Brandon, FL; J.M. Alexander, Jr. and wife Becky of Evans, GA; Louisa Lewis and husband Gary of Hermitage, TN; Rebecca Clodfelter and husband Ronnie of Mooresville, NC and Charles Alexander of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren, Dana Neal and husband Ben; Lesley Brown; Mark Starnes and wife Vickie; Cathy McInturff and husband Wayne; Mitch Clodfelter and wife Marion; Joshua Alexander; Joy Beth Alexander; Joseph Alexander; Shane Alexander and wife Jill; Avery Putrakul and husband Kit; Matthew Lewis; great-grandchildren, Dayna Marie Brown; Krystina Brown; Sarah Neal; Casey Starnes; Rachel McInturff; Elizabeth McInturff; Lucas Putrakul; former daughter-in-law Rosemary Murdock; step-grandchildren Melissa and Doug Haneline.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 18 at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Phillip DeBerry, Jr. and Rev. Mark Pitts officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625 or The Gideons International, P.O. Box 872, Mooresville, NC 28115. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the Alexander family.
