Mrs. A.L. Brown
Mrs. Alice Brannon Brown, 94, widow of A.L. Brown, of 93 Millwood Drive, Arkwright, died Monday morning in Spartanburg Convalescent Center after a long illness.
Native of Spartanburg County; daughter of the late Augustus and Mary Steadman Brannon; member of Thompson Chapel Baptist Church.
Surviving: sons, Horace of Wolf Creek, Ore., Paul of Moore, Lanier of Lanier of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Doyle Brown of the home; daughters, Mrs. Faye Jolly of Cowpens, Mrs. Alice White of Clifton, and Mrs. Earline Revels of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services 4 Wednesday at Corinth Baptist Church, Gaffney, by the Revs. Curtis E. Baker, Thomas E. Bullington, and Forest Jackson; burial in church cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at M.W. Bobo Funeral Chapel.
