ANSON -- Janie Aguirre, 50, of Abilene and formerly of Anson, died Saturday in an Abilene hospital.
Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. today in Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. Oscar Del Rio officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Aguirre was born in San Marcos and moved to Anson as a child. She married Raymond Aguirre in 1968 in Anson and was a homemaker. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include her husband of Abilene; one daughter, Maggie Flores of Abilene; two sons, Mike Aguirre and Raymond Aguirre, both of Abilene; four brothers, Raul Villarreal Jr., Eddie Villarreal, Raymond Villarreal and Andrew Villarreal, all of Anson; four sisters, Mary Rodriguez of Abilene, and Angie Espinoza, Amelia Lozano and Linda Ramirez, all of Anson; and three grandchildren.
