GASTONIA ~ Lula Parks Bolick, 101, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Covenant Village. She was a native of York County, SC and the daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Bennie Faulkner Parks.
Lula was a homemaker, Red Cross volunteer for 45 years, Sunday School teacher, former president of Women of the Church, active choir member, avid golfer, and a charter member of Agape Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Anderson Bolick, Sr., one brother and four sisters.
A memorial service will be 11:00, Friday, November 23 at Founders Chapel, McLean Funeral Directors, Gastonia. The family will receive friends following the service from 11:30 – 12:30
A private burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.
McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia is serving the Bolick family.
