Floyd N. Bowman, of Boonsboro, died at his home Saturday morning of a heart condition. Aged, 66, he had been ill for a long time. Mr. Bowman was born at Leitersburg. He was the son of the late George H. Bowman and Ada V. Bowman and was a member of the Boonsboro First Christin Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Olive Shilling Bowman and seven daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Griffith of Locust Grove, Mrs. Charlotte Keller of Middletown, Mrs. Zella Koogle of Middletown, Mrs. Rhea Stup of Keymar, Mrs. Arvella Lutz of Middletown, Mrs. Orpha Wade of Boonsboro and Mrs. Olive Draper of Boonsboro.

Also surviving are four sons, George Bowman of Middletown, Roger Bowman of Boonsboro, Glenn Bowman of Boonsboro and Marshall Bowman, living at home in Boonsboro. Among the other survivors of Mr. Bowman were three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Pound of Boonsboro, Mrs. Bessie Myers of Hagerstown and Mrs. Virgie Swope of Washington D.C., 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.


The body is at the Bast funeral home in Boonsboro where services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. Rev. J. H. Knibb will officiate at the services. Interment will be in the Boonsboro cemetery.
