Age 79, died November 17, 2012 in Lansing, Michigan. Alice was born February 2, 1933 to Burt and Josephine (LoVette) Warner in Leslie, Michigan. She was retired from the Lansing Police Department and also drove a school bus for the Mason Schools. She was a member of the Foxy Squares Square Dance Club. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Z. Schumacher; daughter Elizabeth Schumacher; sons, Scott A. Ewing and Donald Scott Schumacher. She is survived by daughters, Pamela (Thomas) Shaver, Patricia (Frank) Parish, Carol (Carmen) Zisa; sons, Steven Ewing, David (Kati) Schumacher, Duane (Wendy) Schumacher, Dennis (Colette) Schumacher, Roland (Terrie) Schumacher, Jeff Schumacher; daughter-in-law, Debbie Ewing; 30 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; brother, Burt (Jackie) Warner; sister, Ruth (Dick) Ayers; and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eden United Brethren Church, 1938 Eden Road, Mason, Michigan, with the Pastor Dan Bentz officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Aurelius Township, Michigan. The visitation will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Eden United Brethren Church.
