Edward H. Jones was born August 27, 1854 and departed October 4, 1932, aged 78 years, 1 month, and 6 days. He was married to Jane Turner November 28, 1877; to this union was born 9 children: Alton of Redkey, Frank of Union City, OH, Ambrose of Farmland, Clinton of Richmond, Clara Webb of Jamestown, OH, Ida Cline of Farmland, and Emma Dillie of Anderson. Two departed sons, Oscar and Paul. The wife and mother died March 23 1904. He was again married January 5, 1907 to Ella Hinshaw. He is survived by the wife, seven children, and a host of relatives and friends. Mr. Jones was converted and united with the United Brethren Church of Rose Hill, Ohio in 1906.

His death certificate indicates that he is buried at Port William, but his name was not engraved on the family stone. That was corrected in 2019.
