She was born on December 15, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents Lewis Klein and Beverly Fraiser Klein.
Funeral service will be held at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Christi Hale officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband Raymond L. DeMeritt; sons, Shannon DeMeritt, Preston DeMeritt and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Caitlin DeMeritt, Preston ll DeMeritt, Austin DeMeritt, and "Rooster" Canady; and two special canines, "Andy and Skipper".
Linda was a graduate of Bartlesville College High school and later Tri County Tech both in Oklahoma. She enjoyed her working years in Human Resources in the Phillips Oil and Gas Industry and for the Dean of School of Public Health in Bartlesville. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a cherished companion for her husband. She was fun loving, enjoyed laughing and always kept a smile. She never met a stranger. Linda delighted in her hobbies which included visiting Art Shows, painting, craftily sewing stuffed animals and collecting frogs. She will be greatly missed.
